On the HILL today, three days before inauguration, we witness thousands of military troups converged to safeguard America's newly elected President.

However, one questions whether the preceding events of Jan. 6 are the cause for such extreme concern.

After all, it is a matter of record that since Nov. 2016 Democrats, media, and half of the American citizens have constantly refused to accept the legitimacy of President Trump at every turn.

As a child growing up in the 50's we were always reminded that everyone should, after a President is elected respect the office, and thus the man, for the good of the country.

And so, it seems, this is the very result of that lack of respect and should become a warning to all of what will come if Americans continue on their course of self-destruction for failure to see the greater picture and decline in American values.
